The newest technology in microdermabrasion is the Vibraderm Skin Restoration System. Vibradermabrasion will cause your skin to become soft and smooth with tone and texture improvements after just one treatment. The Vibraderm is clinically proven to effectively exfoliate and produce new collagen. It helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and acne/scarring.

What areas can be helped with Vibraderm?

The Vibraderm Skin Restoration Treatment will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and dullness, acne scars, dryness and oily skin, and pore size. It can be used on the face, neck, chest, back, legs and even feet.

How does the Vibraderm work?

A new paddle kit is used for each patient. The paddles are a patented technology. They are made of a non-imbedded, single layered, abrasive stainless steel material. These patented paddles are abrasive, yet the amount of excessive redness or skin irritation is lower than most skin treatments that are available today. A paddle is inserted into a vibrating wand, which the healthcare professional gently rubs against the area to be treated. The treatment is not painful to the patient. The forward and back movement not only exfoliates the skin, but also triggers new collagen in as little as 3 treatments. Typical treatments are finished in less than 30 minutes. Some patients may experience a redness for up to an hour following the treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Results will be seen after one treatment in most cases, although up to 5 treatments may be recommended, depending on the type of results being sought.

What happens after the treatment?

The Vibraderm system may be used alone, or it may be used to introduce skin care products to the skin after the abrasion portion of the treatment (called Vibrafusion). The reverse side of the paddle may be used to massage lotions or cremes into the treated area.

How does the Vibradermabrasion system compare to traditional microdermabrasion systems?

In a recent clinical study, 85% of subjects preferred the Vibradermabrasion system over conventional microdermabrasion. There was noticeably less post-treatment redness and edema after the Vibradermabrasion treatment compared to standard microdermabrasion.

In the past, microdermabrasion machines have used particles of aluminum oxide or other crystals to sandblast the skin. These machines treat a very small spot size, making it difficult to treat a large area. These types of machines are rough and irritating to the skin. Vibraderm's unique paddles have fixed surface abrasives. This means that the treatment is much cleaner with less mess, and that larger areas can be treated at once.
